The law proceedings between telephone corporations
Everyone must realize that a minute consists of sixty seconds. But correspondingly to IDT a lot of calling card companies only give you 36 seconds in a minute. Lots of well-known companies declared that it can't be any fair competition if one of competitors has unfair benefit before the start of a competition. IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) corporation made a resolve to sue the different companies-providers of prepaid phone cards for the unfair rivalry conditions on a telephone services market.
According to IDT press release, some of their rivals just give 60 percent of the declared minutes to the cutomer. In November 2007 Total Call International, Inc. and IDT/UTA have received a complete resolution of the suit brought by IDT Telecom, Inc. and Union Telecard Alliance, LLC against Total Call. It is the fourth group of accused that have resolved the litigation commenced by IDT/UTA. Epana Networks, Inc., Dollar Phone Corp. and connected companies, and Locus Telecommunications, Inc are also attracted into the trial. IDT/UTA's suit against the remaining defendants is still continuing in federal tribunal in Newark, New Jersey. Not long ago, one of softswitch developers released his advanced terms of paying the telephone facilities.
